Meet Richard Steighner

Richard Steighner, Audiologist has been in the field for over 40 years. He held executive positions with hearing health care manufacturer Phonic Ear for over 20 years. He also served as General Manager at a BioMed Consulting firm. Richard has worked as a consultant to numerous hearing healthcare offices and as an audiological advisor to other hearing healthcare manufacturers. Additionally, he has provided direct patient care to individuals with hearing impairments. Over the last several years, he has performed disability evaluations for veterans locally, throughout the United States, and in U.S. territories, including American Samoa, Puerto Rico, and Guam.

Richard holds degrees in the field from Indiana University and the University of Colorado, as well as an MBA from the University of San Francisco. Richard previously served as a board member of the Marion Downs Center in Denver, Colorado, and has participated on several boards and advisory groups.

Richard is excited to provide audiological guidance and support to the Strand Hearing Team in his role as consultant.
